York-based digital product consultancy Netsells has announced it has partnered with Out App, a new social networking app for the LGBTQ+ community.
The Out App team selected Netsells to build and launch the app prior to its planned release in June 2022.
Netsells will work closely with the Out App leadership team to develop the new app, which is designed to connect LGBTQ+ communities and provide a space for networking, joining virtual or local events and identifying LGBTQ+ friendly spaces and businesses.
“Out App is an incredibly important project for the LGBTQ+ community, and we needed a partner who could bring our vision to life. When we partnered with Netsells, we knew that they would give Out App the kind of thoughtful infrastructure and development that would have an immediate impact on our community and business partners,” said Jen Farmer, co-founder and COO of Out.
Anna Harissis, co-founder and CEO of Out, added: “The LGBTQ+ communitycraves connection, and a modern friendship-making experience is long overdue for the LGBTQ+ community. The app will also feature LGBTQ+-friendly businesses and spaces, in-person and virtual events, and group-chat functions to connect with new friends.”
