Meanwhile has appointed Mona Rowley-Rock from Story as account director.
Rowley-Rock, who has spent much of her previous career in the Midlands and previously worked with Meanwhile CEO and founder Al Marchant at Chapter, joins the 20-month old start-up as it moves its growing team to a new studio in Manchester’s Mediacity.
Having started her career with ITG, Rowley-Rock spent several years with Chapter, which latterly rebranded as Story, running their Calor Gas and Gigaclear accounts. She joins in the wake of Meanwhile being recently appointed by gaming giant tombola as its agency of record.
“We are made-up Mona has chosen to join us, it’s a total coup for the business” says Tim Jones, CCO and founder of Meanwhile.
“She brings a wealth of experience, with a brilliant track record of producing brave and effective work too. Mona is a vital hire for us, and will help shape our culture as we grow.”
Rowley-Rock added “I am incredibly excited to reunite with Al and join the Meanwhile team. The agency’s reputation for creativity and pushing boundaries is second to none, and I can’t wait to roll up my sleeves and get to work with these talented folks to achieve incredible things for our clients.”
