South Yorkshire agency Altitude, which launched in February, has secured a number of new clients to develop and implement PR strategies.

The agency, which is the dedicated PR arm of Sheffield-based communications agency Counter Context, has added projects with Henry Boot Construction, chartered surveyor Fowler Sandford, Kirklees Council, Barnsley Council, Barnsley Museums and Sheffield City Council to its portfolio.

For Henry Boot Construction, the agency has been tasked with delivering profile-raising PR services across the North of England.

The agency has also supported Kirklees Council with public communications and PR on its £210m Cultural Heart development scheme in Huddersfield and strategic advice and planning with Sheffield City Council on its ‘See It Be It’ career engagement initiative.

Altitude PR Director Jane Whitham said: “When we launched Altitude, we were determined to hit the ground running and we’re delighted to have added several heavyweight clients in the first three months. We are committed to producing the best quality work, service and results for all our clients.

“Across the North, and particularly in South Yorkshire, we do not shout enough about the amazing things that businesses and organisations are doing.

“Altitude is working closely with clients to develop and implement impactful PR strategies which help organisations evolve and help businesses unlock their potential.”

The core team is headed up by PR Director Jane Whitham, Senior Account Manager Adam Reeves-Brown and PR Associate Tom Chapman.

Altitude, which also works with online retailer Mattress Online, environmental consultancy Arcus and offshore wind supplier Ørsted, benefits from operational support from Counter Context, with offices in Sheffield, Manchester and London.
