Wincanton looks to Oakbase for brand push

Manchester integrated agency Oakbase has been appointed by Wincanton, the supply chain solutions provider.

After a competitive pitch, the agency has been hired to drive growth and increase brand awareness in the UK. It plans to develop the Wincanton brand and use a combination of direct mail, email marketing and events.

Wincanton has over 15,500 employees and 4,000 vehicles across 200 sites, with customers including M&S, Tesco, Shell and BAE Systems.

Oakbase MD Julian Sowerby said: “The hard work begins now. This is an important win at an exciting time for our client. Wincanton is geared for growth and we will be working with a dynamic team to drive awareness, leads and sales for the supply chain specialists.”

The agency has won other recent work off Printed.com and Panmure Gordon.
