Ride hailing and food and shopping delivery giant Uber’s advertising division in the UK has launched a new Northern hub in Manchester.
Since launching in the UK in London two years ago, and hitting its target $1bn global revenue rate ahead of schedule, Uber Advertising is increasing investment in the UK market, and the opening of Uber’s Manchester advertising office will provide a regional base to meet national and local demand in the UK’s second largest media-buying city.

Denise Breslin, UK&I sales lead, will spearhead the expansion of the Manchester office, including hiring personnel and growing Uber’s market footprint. Building awareness of Uber’s latest product developments, as it continues to invest in its advertising capabilities, Breslin will help foster new relationships and strengthen existing partnerships for Uber with national and Manchester-based clients.
Paul Wright, head of Uber Advertising International, said: “The opening of our Manchester office is a testament to the success of Uber’s advertising business in the UK in its first two years, and demonstrates our continued investment in critical UK media-buying centres such as Manchester. This regional hub will help us meet demand, enhancing our ability to support and service both national and Manchester-based clients with Uber’s advertising solutions.”
