Whitbread wins with record gamification campaign

Engage has completed a “record-breaking” seasonal gamification campaign for hotel and restaurant group, Whitbread.

More than 150k unique players took part in the winter activation, with CRM sign-ups 1000% more than forecasted during the 2-week campaign.

It was developed by the Leeds agency, offering people the chance to win prizes including restaurant vouchers and gadgets, plus one main prize, ‘A Family Adventure Holiday’ from fellow Engage client, PGL Travel. 

“Our client strategist Amy connected our two clients, Whitbread and PGL Travel, to create a fantastic prize for our gamified activation campaign,” said Dom Mernock, Director at Engage, who supervised the project.

Engage has been working with Whitbread since 2012.
