With a series of specially curated events at this year’s Digital City Festival, we’ve put together all you need to know about the sessions, innovative companies and senior leaders taking part!

Brought to you by Prolific North, the festival will take place from 23rd March to 31st March in Manchester. We’ll look to tackle opportunities and challenges facing the North’s tech and digital sectors, and celebrate the regions’ innovation through our flagship events…

Digital Leaders Summit & Reception

Kicking off the festival on 23rd March will be the Digital Leaders Summit and reception, hosted at Bruntwood SciTech’s Bright Building.

The summit will unite decision makers from across the North and senior leaders from trailblazing companies across the digital and tech worlds. Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) will open the event, followed by a valuable panel delving into the practical steps of how digital infrastructure can match the future ambitions of the region.

Bruntwood SciTech will be hosting a session on how the leading property provider is creating a network of thriving innovation districts, followed by a talk with global digital transformation company GFT with Amazon Web Services.

There will also be dedicated roundtable discussions on digital transformation, skills and sustainability followed by a drinks reception and networking.

The Tech Debrief

We’ll be bringing you The Tech Debrief on 28th March, which will be an inspirational forum for tech leaders and forward-thinking businesses.

Hosted at Bruntwood SciTech’s Bright Building, there will be unmissable sessions from the opportunities in AI, debating the skills gap, tech for good initiatives in the North and plenty more. 

Sue Daley, techUK’s Director of Tech and Innovation, will be chairing a panel session with an impressive line-up of tech leaders to discuss emerging technologies and how to equip teams for success. Read more on the full agenda and secure your place

Scaling for Growth

Hosted at our partner Bruntwood SciTech’s Bright Building on Wednesday 29th March, Scaling for Growth will be a key event for senior marketers to hear from the likes of Boohoo, Microsoft and MiQ.

An insightful panel chaired by Becky Willis, New Business Director at Just After Midnight, will discuss how to make your brand stand out in today’s marketplace. Industry experts joining the panel include Microsoft’s Commercial Director Ellie England and Amy Woods, Author of Content 10x.

Rosa Mitchell, business director at digital marketing agency connective3, will also be delivering a special session, delving into how to optimise creative campaigns for performance and demonstrating that all important ROI from marketing spend.

Further sessions on how to advertise effectively using data will be delivered by MiQ, followed by a keynote by Boohoo’s Head of Innovation, Will Clayton, on the importance of getting your foundation right to unlock innovation. You can find out about all the incredible sessions taking place here.
