We Are Indigo announces 2024 partnership with Eat Well MCR

We Are Indigo has announced a partnership for 2024 with Eat Well MCR, a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing chef-made meals to people sidelined by poverty across Greater Manchester.

Eat Well MCR hopes to continue growing the ways it supports people in need in 2024, with the continued help of Manchester’s hospitality community. We Are Indigo will lead media communications and creative campaigns for the organisation, lending its support to various initiatives by Eat Well MCR.

Some of Eat Well MCR’s projects include community-based projects such as pop-up food traders offering free meals to families in need and special fundraising dinner events designed to raise awareness and support for the cause.

Born in response to the lockdown which challenged restaurants and the fallout from the pandemic, Eat Well MCR has already distributed 100,000 meals to those in need since its launch in April 2020. The organisation is led by chef Mary-Ellen McTague, creative producer Gemma Saunders, and marketing consultant Kathleen O’Connor. Other notable figures such as Cloudwater founder Paul Jones, Honest Crust founder Rich Carver, Tampopo founder David Fox, and cultural powerhouse Christine Cort make up the board.

The collective has united a community by offering unique services with a dedicated mission statement reflecting the kindness and generosity synonymous with Manchester’s evolving food and drink sector.

Kathleen O’Connor, marketing consultant and one of the three founders of Eat Well, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership: “We were delighted when Gemma Krysko, founder of We Are Indigo, approached us with an offer to support our 2024 strategy at no cost to Eat Well MCR. Everything we achieve is a result of the collective effort of Manchester’s hospitality community, so collaborating with a PR company with extensive experience in this sector makes perfect sense. We’re really excited to see what 2024 will bring.”

Founder of We Are Indigo Krysko added: “Partnering with non-profit organisations that make a tangible difference has always been important to the agency. In the past, we have effectively delivered meaningful PR messages for charities and run impactful campaigns supporting communities. We are committed to driving positive impact and contributing to both the community and the hospitality industry. We are thrilled to assist Eat Well MCR with their communications, continuing to build their profile and embarking on some very exciting upcoming projects.”
