Manchester-based Vexed Gaming has announced it has acquired Mock-it Esports, a US-based esports organisation, for an undisclosed sum.
Vexed Gaming, which is a professional esports company founded in 2015, said all Mock-it operations and branding will cease to exist and will be absorbed into the Vexed Gaming ecosystem.
As part of the acquisition deal, Vexed have also acquired and agreed terms with the US firm’s EU based Halo Infinite roster, who will play under the Vexed banner for future tournaments.
Sonny Waheed, CEO Vexed Gaming, said: “We are delighted to conclude this deal and secure a new strategic North American acquisition that will allow us to capitalize on the historic work done by the Mock-it team. We look forward to welcoming Mock-it’s fans and giving them many years of exciting gameplay under the Vexed banner.”
