Vega, the new Manchester business founded by a whole host of former agency executives, has hired Rebecca O’Malley as its new Managing Partner.
O’Malley has been Head of Broadcast at Mediacom since 2015 and will lead Vega’s AV offering.
“Having never worked on the independent agency side of the industry before, I look forward to getting stuck in and having some different conversations with media owners and clients,” said O’Malley who’s previously been Business Development Controller at ITV and AV Accounts Director at MediaVest (now dentsu)
“Also, it’s great to be working with ex-colleagues with a proven track record of building successful companies. I’m very excited to see what the future holds.”
The agency was set up by Alexia Harper, Nick James, Liz Lavelle, Jon Hall, Ian Lees, Mark Jorgensen and Dave Lucas, who’ve worked at the likes of Carat, dentsu, iProspect, McCann and MediaCom.
