Manchester has become the home of the first Cazoo Customer Centre, where consumers will be able to pick up a serviced new car which they bought online.
The startup allows people to browse high-standard used cars, and intends to make buying a car online just as easy as online shopping for any other product. The customer centre – along with a further 15 planned for opening around the country by the end of 2020 – is a key part of Cazoo’s storage and distribution infrastructure as well as providing customers with a local collection option and servicing facilities.
The new venue has opened on Chester Road in Stretford, Manchester, and will also allow customers to browse cars for sale online at the Customer Centre before ordering online.
Cazoo is pioneering the shift to online car buying in the UK and is already selling thousands of cars a month to customers all across the UK, having only been launched in 2019. It is an online-only retailer, and one of the fastest-growing eCommerce businesses in the UK at the moment.
Each vehicle bought on Cazoo is available for delivery anywhere in mainland UK or collection from a local Customer Centre, and comes with a full seven-day money back guarantee and a 90-day warranty.
Neil Smith, Retail Director at Cazoo, said: “We have been delighted by the overwhelmingly positive response of consumers to our online car buying proposition. With our ever-increasing number of sales, our new Customer Centres will provide our customers with more choice around how they want to receive their Cazoo car and allow us to serve them better through our own service centres.
“We’re excited to be opening in Manchester as we reinvent the car buying experience and continue our mission to provide better selection, transparency, convenience and peace of mind to used car buyers across the UK.”
