JP Surveyors has told Prolific North that unsold stock from the auction of Sumners’ assets will be going on eBay.
In total 500 lots went under the hammer this week, from Apple Mac computers, to office equipment and the “Sweet Trolly.”
The firm said that the auction went “very well” with sales “in excess of expectations.” However, any unsold stock would be placed on eBay in the next few weeks.
Sumners MediaCity called in a firm of liquidators in July. Sumners was originally founded in 1992, quickly becoming the largest post-production house outside of London. In 2012, however, a third of its workforce was laid off and it moved to new, smaller offices at MediaCityUK.
