The University of West London is making a “significant investment in its digital estate” with the appointment of Manchester’s CTI Digital.
The contract was awarded after a “highly contested, multi-agency procurement process.”
The brief involves a discovery process, web development, hosting and continual development of the new site.
“We’re delighted to have been chosen to deliver a project of such immense strategic importance for such a forward –looking and ambitious organisation as the University of West London,” said Paul Johnson, drupal director at CTI Digital.
“Our team is highly motivated to deliver a market-leading digital platform, further enhancing UWL’s competitive edge in the national and global education marketplace.”
The web development also includes a new Drupal-based content management system, to enable in-house teams to update it.
“UWL places great importance on continuous investment in its facilities and infrastructure, and its website is no exception. We want to give our users a positive, useful and seamless web experience, and we have selected CTI Digital as our digital partner to deliver on this strategic and high value project for us,” added Professor Anthony Woodman, deputy vice-chancellor and provost for health at the University of West London.
