Liverpool agency, Uniform, was the creative agency behind Peel’s new Trafford City destination brand.
As revealed yesterday, Peel has named the area of land which includes the Trafford Centre, Airkix, Event City and Chill Factore for the first time.
This, it hopes, will raise its profile, both in the UK and overseas, for retail, leisure, work and living.
Uniform was appointed to conduct an audit of the Trafford area, before developing a positioning, messaging, visual identity and brand strategy.
“Peel’s plans for the area around the Trafford Centre are bold and ambitious. This is about repositioning a destination that is known as the UK’s largest shopping centre, redefining it in the minds of existing and future audiences. Trafford City as a name reflects the future of the place,” explained Tim Sharp, creative director at Uniform.
The agency already works with Peel on the Wirral Waters development.
