Manchester-based creative agency Ultimate has brought the feeling of the Havana fiesta home with ideation, campaign theme, and messaging for the launch of Revolución de Cuba’s new food menu.
As the popular bar chain expands its appeal to daytime diners, the new campaign blends the brand’s vibrant nightlife reputation with its latest culinary offering, under the banner of ‘Feast en la Fiesta.’
Revolución de Cuba, often affectionately referred to as ‘Revs de Cuba’ or simply ‘Revs’ (a nod to its parent brand), is known across the UK for its high-energy, carnival-like atmosphere. From live music to dancers, its venues have become synonymous with a vibrant nightlife experience.
However, the brand is now spotlighting its food offering, with the new menu inspired by the rich flavours of traditional Cuban cantinas.
Ultimate was tasked with translating this shift into an engaging and inspiring campaign hook, capturing the essence of the ‘fiesta’ Revolución de Cuba is famous for, whilst showcasing authentic, high-quality cuisine developed by chef Laurence Tottingham. Tottingham, who boasts over 25 years of experience, including seven years in Michelin-starred kitchens, brings a wealth of culinary expertise to the table.
The campaign, titled “Feast en la Fiesta,” serves as a vibrant call to action for friends, families, and colleagues to come together, indulge, and celebrate.
Building on vivid imagery of dishes brimming with flavour, accompanying messaging like “made to dunk” and “feast like you mean it” encourages diners to fully embrace the Cuban spirit, whilst tucking into fresh tacos, tropical chicken, crispy pork belly, and more.
Chef Tottingham’s frequent travels to Cuba lend authenticity to the campaign, with the new menu reflecting the heart and soul of Latin cuisine. Ultimate’s campaign highlights the quality of the ingredients and the warmth of traditional Cuban recipes, aiming to evoke a sense of community and togetherness. Vibrant themes work together with the hook and messaging to encourage diners to gather, sip, and share — embodying the very essence of Cuban culture.
The new menu launches this month.
