Sheffield agency Uber has won the £18m advertising account for the furniture store retailer Harveys. The business was previously held by Enter.
Harveys, based in Cheltenham is owned by the South African company Steinhoff International Holdings.
Steinhoff also owns Bensons Beds.
Uber is based in Sheffield but also has a growing London operation.
The agency’s managing director is Greg Clark.
Other Uber clients include Homebase, Sega, Antler, Warner Brothers, Dr Oetker, Go Outdoors and Next.
The previous ‘incumbent’, Enter, is understood to have held the business for around two years.
Reports suggest that Harveys management is keen to move its advertising away from its traditional price- focused offer to an offer that considers more of the shopper’s issues when reflecting on furniture purchases.
The media account held by Walker Media is understood to be unaffected by the change of creative agency.
