Leeds-based creative brand consultancy Born Ugly has announced two key appointments as part of its growth strategy.
Joining the agency as senior client manager in January, Amy Dennis has moved into the role of client director and will work with the agency’s list of global clients, as well as helping to expand its client roster.
In her previous roles at JKR and Big Fish, Dennis worked on global brands including Knorr, NHS, Charlie Bigham’s and KIND, as well as a range of brands within the global MARS portfolio, including M&M’s.
Ethan Wainwright joins Born Ugly as senior manager, provocation and creative strategist. As part of the provocation team, Wainwright will be instrumental in pushing the boundaries for clients and solving business challenges creatively.
He previously worked at Leeds-based communications agency Finn as a creative strategist, creating campaign and creative strategies for clients such as SMOL, Jason’s Sourdough and TCC Global.
Wander Bruijel, senior partner at Born Ugly, said: “I’m really excited to welcome Ethan and Amy to our team of creative change agents and provocateurs. They are the first of several new additions to the team that will help us to make a big ugly dent in the universe.”
