Marketing Liverpool has made two key appointments to bolster its team.
Emma Bellis has been appointed as head of convention bureau while Joe Keggin has been appointed as press officer for the Visitor Economy.
She previously worked at Marketing Cheshire and has also worked for large agencies and hotel groups in London and overseas.
Joe Keggin, who has previously worked at city agencies Kenyon Fraser and Think Publicity, joins the 19-strong team charged with bringing responsibility for the city region’s brand management and promotion into a single entity.
Marketing Liverpool recruited him via an advertisement placed with us here at Prolific North.
Director Chris Brown said Emma and Joe were joining the organisation at a very exciting time for the city:
“With the International Festival for Business now just six months away and at a time when we are working ever more closely with the private sector on a range of key projects, including Liverpool at Mipim.
“I have no doubt that both will make an immediate impression in their roles and bring real added benefit to our fledgling team.”
