After a successful first run last year, Tungsten Media is bringing back their innovation event for PROMO25. The event invites everyone in the Yorkshire creative industries into their working studio to explore emerging tools like virtual production, motion control, and AI workflows in a practical, hands-on space.
Running from 29 April to 1 May as part of the Leeds Digital Festival Mini-Fest, PROMO25 is built around pre-booked time slots. Rather than sit-down talks, attendees are guided through an interactive experience with real world case studies, on set interactive demonstrations, and time to ask any questions, as well as refreshments and canapes afterwards.
It’s designed for anyone looking to understand the future of content generation, from; agency teams, in-house creatives to freelancers, students and even other production companies. Anyone who wants to better understand how production is changing, and what that means for the way they pitch, plan and create. There’s no gatekeeping here. Tungsten’s always been about collaboration, especially with studios who might not have a robot arm in their back pocket – whether that’s helping agencies get to grips with new workflows or supporting other studios who might not have a robot arm in their back pocket.

“We know first-hand how hard it can be to keep up with the pace of change in production.’’ said Andrew Beniston, co-founder at Tungsten Media. ‘’There’s so much noise around new tech, and not many chances to actually get your hands on it or ask real questions. PROMO25 is our way of helping cut through that. It’s a chance to see how we use tools like VP and AI day-to-day and think about how they might fit into your own process.”
Tungsten is currently the only production company in Yorkshire combining a dedicated studio, modular LED volume, motion control robotics, and AI-enhanced workflows in-house. PROMO25 offers a rare opportunity to explore how those tools can support production at every stage, from concepting through to delivery.
The event is free, but spaces are limited. Creative teams, agency producers, and content strategists are encouraged to book early. Sign up via Eventbrite here.
