Truth Creative has partnered with the Taylor Lynn Corporation (TLC) to support Gary and Emma Neville in hosting a fundraising ball for St Ann’s Hospice.
The Great Mancunian Ball will raise money for the St Ann’s Hospice Build it Together Campaign to build a new hospice for the people of Greater Manchester at Heald Green.
Set to be held in November at Aviva Studio, the home of Factory International, the yellow-and-black-themed ball is being organised in collaboration with Manchester event company TLC. Manchester-based Truth worked pro bono with TLC on the concept and brand for the event.
Truth has worked extensively with former Manchester United player Gary Neville through ventures including the St Michael’s development in Manchester city centre and UA92.
In 2021, Truth began working with St Ann’s on the development of its brand strategy and interior branding for the new hospice.
Jo Scott, co-founder and managing partner of Truth Creative, said: “This is a cause close to the hearts of so many people and we had to do what we could to support it. This will be a brilliant event with an important purpose, raising money for a new hospice for the people of Greater Manchester.”
Liz Taylor, CEO of Taylor Lynn Corporation said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to raise money for a great cause. Working alongside Gary and Emma, St Ann’s and the team at Truth has been a fantastic fusion of creativity that will make an unforgettable event experience.”
The Great Mancunian Ball will see Gary Neville joined on stage by football legends Jamie Carragher, Ian Wright, Jill Scott and Roy Keane, plus special guests, for a night no sports fans will want to miss.
The Build It Together Campaign is working towards a new purpose-built hospice to replace the current Victorian building. St Ann’s new hospice will be a complete care facility in Greater Manchester that local people can access, from diagnosis of a life-limiting illness to treatment and beyond. It will be located on land next door to the current Heald Green hospice on St Ann’s Road North.
The new building will house a 27-bed inpatient unit including individual en-suite rooms and access to private outdoor terraces. The development will also feature modern outpatient and day therapy services, dedicated bereavement and family support spaces, all surrounded by beautiful, landscaped gardens.
The public Build it Together campaign has already raised an amazing £1.2 million with a target of £2m in total.
