‘Pop the Trunk’ is a brand-new podcast series hosted by Adam Britton (above), MD of Trunk, interviewing some influential guests about branding and marketing.
Launching last month, the series sets out to provide unique insights into how to make an impact with content. Its first episode saw Britton interview Steve Bland and Tom Fordyce, while the next saw him sit down with Paddy Power’s Head of Mischief.
With eight episodes and one bonus episode planned, Pop The Trunk will also feature interviews with famous figures ranging from academia and futurism to Carlsberg’s Marketing Manager.
Great content is the focus of the whole podcast series – with subjects ranging from how to remain mischevious to having a clear view of your own brand, and beyond. The podcasts will also cover the latest digital tech innovations.
Britton said: “We’ve been toying with the idea of a podcast for a while, and with most of us working from home this year it felt like the perfect time to do it. Initially I wanted advice on how to actually get started – how to stand out from the crowd and create something that made people sit up and listen. Steve Bland jumped on a call, invited his friend Tom Fordyce, and before we knew it, that initial phone call had become episode one.
“Pop the Trunk is ultimately about how to get your brand noticed. We’ve lined up some amazing names for series one, and so far every episode has been completely different from the next. It’s talking about bold ideas and how to push your marketing to the next level – something that embodies what Trunk is all about.”
Manchester-based Trunk has recently set plans for ambitious growth in 2021, and began to grow its team further.
‘Pop the Trunk’ is available on Google, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Anchor.fm, as well as other leading podcast platforms.
