Her role will focus on providing a voice to industry for all five regional higher education institutions.

James Bunting, chair of the Dynamo North East Advisory Board, said: “We are thrilled that Fay, Lynsey and Taya have been successful in joining our advisory board following our recent recruitment drive.

“Their vast expertise, industry knowledge, and strategic vision will be invaluable in supporting our vision to make the North East a better place to start and grow a tech business or department.

“The appointments build on the evolution of Dynamo’s journey as we continue to champion innovation, encourage collaboration and drive economic growth across the region.”

The three appointments follow outgoing board advisors Lauren Bradshaw, James Beard, and Andy Lawson, who were hailed as having played an ‘important role in helping to strengthen the network over recent years.’

He added: “Dynamo has been concentrating on delivering more targeted events and advocacy. This reflects our ongoing commitment to driving impact and advancing the sector. As we continue to evolve, we remain focused on enhancing our offerings and strengthening our position. We also want to acknowledge the contributions of Lauren Bradshaw, Andy Lawson, and James Beard, whose support has been invaluable in shaping our direction as we have continued to move forward.”
