Trinity Mirror, the parent company behind titles including the MEN and Liverpool Echo, has announced a new management structure for its regionals business, including a newly created role of revenue director and the appointment of a new commercial director.
Mike Pennington, currently managing director for the North East region, has been appointed to the newly created role of regionals revenue director. He now assumes responsibility for all of Trinity Mirror’s regions.
Pennington said: “I am delighted to be appointed and have this opportunity to look at how we can maximise the local print and digital advertising revenue across the group.
“We have a wonderful stable of brands, and the right people to take our regional titles from strength to strength.
“I have always had revenue at the forefront of everything I do, so I’m excited to get started and work closely with the team.”
Sarah Pullen pictured above), currently managing director of the South West region, has been appointed to the role of commercial director. She will retain her existing responsibilities in addition to her new role.
