TfGM has announced an invitation to tender for its multimillion pound creative services.
The organisation is seeking creative, media, social, video and PR agencies as part of its new framework agreement.
“This is a big opportunity for agencies across a range of creative fields to join our team at a crucial point in our journey towards delivering the Bee Network – an integrated transport system which will join buses, trams, cycling and walking by 2024, with rail incorporated by 2030,” explained Jo Taylor, TfGM’s Head of Brand, Design and Digital.
“During this transition period it’s critical that we have the most strategic, innovative, creative and results-driven partners on board working as an extension of our team, in order to ensure our messages reach the right audiences across Greater Manchester in the most impactful way.”
The review will see a new 2-year supplier framework set up, which includes marketing, brand, PR, media planning & buying, vehicle livery, wayfinding & signage, print services, digital & social media, and videography.
Unlike previous frameworks, which had required competitions and pitches for each project, this one contains lots on a single supplier basis “allowing only the initial tender process to drive consolidation for a partnering approach on a strategic basis.”
“TfGM wants to build meaningful and successful relationships with our partners moving from a competitive approach to a more strategic approach to partner with organisations to deliver best value, rather than achieve best value through multiple mini competitions. We also acknowledge how time consuming it is for agencies to keep compiling submissions for work they may not be successful in winning,” continued Taylor.
“By removing this layer and ensuring we have a select roster of agencies who deliver against their specialist areas and who subsequently know they are guaranteed work from us we hope this will encourage a strong list of submissions and allow us to build the best roster possible to deliver TfGM’s communications objectives.”
The successful bidders will be working alongside TfGM’s in-house creative teams.
The invitation to tender (ITT) will close on the 24th November 2022 at 12pm, with contracts for successful bidders set to run from February 2023.
