Doncaster-based Walks Around Britain has been commissioned to produce a spin-off series, Walks Around Yorkshire.
It will air on Together TV and follows a familiar format, but will focus on one walk in each programme, so that it can feature more stories from local people.
The shows will be hosted by producer Andrew White:

From the peaks to the dales, I’ll be walking 5 routes I’ve chosen to show the amazing diversity of landscapes in Yorkshire; dales to moors, coastline to rivers, urban to rural.
“We know Together TV’s audience enjoy the majesty of Yorkshire in series like The Yorkshire Dales and The Lakes narrated by Ian McMillan. Now they’ll be able to come on a walk with me, a fellow Yorkshireman, through God’s Own County.
“It’s also great we’re able to make the series available first on our subscription site Walks Around Britain+, and available to expats around the world via Amazon Prime Video.”
The 5 programmes will take in the coast, the Yorkshire Dales, the North Yorks Moors, the outskirts of Sheffield and York.
