The SEO Works to improve digital presence for events firm KDM

Events specialist KDM Events has appointed The SEO Works to take its organic digital standings to the next level.

Launched in 1990, KDM Events organises events nationwide and specialises in two main areas – conference/meeting based events and team building/evening events. As a company that predominantly operates in face-to-face situations, the events firm has generated the majority of its business through word of mouth. Although the medium is an effective way of acquiring new business, KDM felt it needed to develop its online presence to entice new customers who had no previous associations with the company.

Another key concern was the way in which Google interpreted KDM’s website. Previously known solely in a digital sense for its conference based services, KDM wanted to make sure its team-building and evening event services were also accounted for by the search engine.

This ultimately led the company to approach The SEO Works to assist with amplifying digital visibility and create authority around the team-building and evening events section of the website.

The initial enquiry was followed by an in-depth website audit from the award-winning SEO Works team, which allowed them to identify a number of potential opportunities that could be taken to help reach their goal.
