The PHA Group, has been appointed by England Golf for a campaign-focused brief.

England Golf is the governing body for amateur golf in England, responsible for 1,800 affiliated golf clubs and 720,000 members.

The appointment will see The PHA Group raising awareness of key England Golf initiatives designed to increase participation in the sport.

This includes Get Into Golf, an umbrella campaign brand for driving awareness and inspiring people to take their first steps into the game.

Feeding into this, #WhyIGolf is an online and digital campaign aimed at celebrating female successes on and off the course, sharing inspiring and positive stories involving females and their participation at all levels of the game.

The latest release by England Golf is Respect in Golf, a new movement aimed at improving the understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in the game of golf – and helping to reinforce that there is no place in golf for any form of discrimination.

Toni Zverblis, brand and campaign manager at England Golf, said: “People are consuming and playing golf in more ways than ever before. We want to inspire, support and connect with as many people as possible on their golfing journey. We’re looking forward to working closely with The PHA Group to help amplify the initiatives we have in place to grow the grass roots game.”

Tom Inskip, director of sport and fitness at The PHA Group, added: “It is fantastic to be working with England Golf to bring their campaign work to new audiences. With the Solheim Cup and Ryder Cup coming up later this month, these events are sure to inspire the next generation of amateur golfers to get out on the course.”
