“The digital agency space can be noisier than a drum kit being kicked down a stairwell”

Senior marketer, Andy Watson, has set up a new B2B tech content and marketing agency, Don’t Delete.

Watson was Head of Group Marketing at IDHL for almost 2 years, before becoming Head of Marketing at Shopcreator. For the last 8 years, he’s been operating under his own name as a freelancer, with brands including Samsung, Sony, HP, Avid, Hiscox and Toshiba.

Don’t Delete, he said was a chance to give his work “a proper place to live.”

“Tech is where my heart takes me. It’s where my mind lives,” he explained.

“Cutting loose has given me the freedom to deliver excellence without limits, and now it’s time to fuel a new breakthrough. I know the nuances of the tech sector. The science and the storytelling, and how to translate complex ideas into messages that connect.”

Officially opening this week, he said that Don’t Delete was set up to help B2B brands stand out, rather than “fading into a background of beige.”

“The digital agency space can be noisier than a drum kit being kicked down a stairwell.

“But Don’t Delete will stand out as a bridge between technical brilliance and compelling marketing. My skill is in translating R&D into ROI, transforming complex products into clear, engaging narratives. It’s my job to inject personality into scroll-stopping content without losing technical integrity.”

Based in York he said it would be targeting B2B innovators and international technology brands to help sharpen their messaging, build engagement and drive sales.

His background is a unique one –  a member of Mensa, with a marketing degree, a postgraduate business diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and academic experience in mechanical engineering and organic chemistry.
