Telcom Group completes acquisition of London’s largest fixed wireless network operator

Manchester’s Telcom Group has completed the acquisition of fixed wireless and high-speed fibre network provider Luminet – London’s largest fixed wireless network operator and leading business-to-business connectivity provider.

The acquisition is a key component in Gresham House-backed Telcom’s growing footprint, as it adds London to its list of existing metro networks, delivering high-speed internet combined with a full stack of applications, products and services to business customers & channel partners throughout the UK.

Luminet, which was founded in 2005, is a leading London-based ethernet connectivity specialist across fixed wireless and fibre with the unique ability to provide fully resilient “100% SLA” connectivity, at speeds of up to 10Gbps, with wireless connectivity provision within 10 days.
