From winning major new clients to receiving industry recognition, over the past decade hundreds of companies and individuals have gone on to do incredible things after being crowned winners at Prolific North Award events.
And there’s a brand new awards event for you to add to your diaries and potentially join our alumni of talented winners.
With a long-standing reputation of hosting trusted flagship awards events, Prolific North is hosting the inaugural STEM Marketing Awards on 22 May as part of Digital City Festival in Manchester.
STEM Marketing Awards celebrates the national achievements of marketers that have helped to transform the science, technology, engineering and mathematics industries.
With the final deadline for entries approaching on 4 March, we’ve spoken to previous winners across all of Prolific North Awards to find out why they entered – and the successes they’ve seen off the back of receiving an award.
For Josh Wheeler, founder of broadcast PR consultancy Be Broadcast, winning big at previous awards events has helped turn leads into projects and raised his company’s profile.
“From a business perspective, these awards have been invaluable. Looking back at my inbox, we converted two new leads into projects. As a relatively new agency, it’s been crucial for us to get our name out there across the North, and these awards have played a significant role in supporting our growth.”
Over at digital marketing agency Hillsgreen, winning has led to conversations with prospective clients, raised the agency’s profile and attracted new hires.
“We are in such a specific niche that entering awards such as the Prolific North Awards, let alone winning one, is unheard of with our direct competition. Therefore, it stands us in really good stead with prospective clients,” explains Aidie Street, managing director at Hillsgreen.
“We have had a couple of clients reference that they have found us off the back of winning the awards, when they have been searching for new agency partners. It’s also been a real talking point when recruiting new staff, as it definitely gives a certain level of kudos to a young agency.”
Make sure you enter before the final entry deadline on 4 March – and the first 50 companies are eligible for a special 2-for-1 deal on award entries. Use code One4Free at checkout – good luck!
