Zeal Creative is leading a new brand marketing campaign for Starbucks chilled coffee.
The Manchester and London-based agency will manage experiential activity as part of its “Lift up the Everyday” EMEA campaign.
Inspired by “pay it forward”, the activation features a specially built billboard and digital amplification that enables consumers to “Pay It Forward to a Friend.”
While sitting in a custom-built chair that’s affixed to the poster, customers can use a QR code to pick a chilled coffee drink to gift to the person they wish was sitting next to them via a gift card with a personalised message.
Starbucks chilled coffee will then create, print and post the card to their chosen recipient.
“The question we asked ourselves was, ‘How could we turn a poster into a post box to give as many people as possible a lift?’” said John Treacy, Executive Creative Director at ZEAL.
“The magic of bringing physical and digital together means thousands of people will be getting a brilliantly thoughtful surprise in the post thanks to Starbucks chilled coffee.”
The experiential campaign is taking place in London this week.
