Sport Relief will be broadcast live from Salford for the first time when it returns later this month.
BBC One will broadcast a night of entertainment, music and comedy as part of the biennial charity initiative, which this year takes place on March 23rd.
Gary Lineker, Davina McCall and Ore Oduba will host, with Paddy McGuinness, Claudia Winkleman and Freddie Flintoff also involved in presenting duties.
Among the highlights will be celebrity boxing featuring Wayne Bridge, Spencer Matthews, Hannah Spearritt, Vanessa White, Camilla Thurlow and Helen Skelton.
Comedian John Bishop will set out on a mission to help England win the World Cup – with cameos from Harry Kane, Jesse Lingard, Ricky Hatton and Sir Geoff Hurst – Sue Barker hosts a special edition of A Question of Sport and Robbie Savage’s celebrity all-star five-a-side football team will attempt 12 hours of non-stop football.
Asked about presenting the charity night from Salford, Lineker said: “I know Salford really well of course as I’m here every Saturday for Match of the Day, but something that’s the scale of Sport Relief and the live studio audience is totally different.”
