Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is set to leave its Liverpool home of almost 27 years for a new facility in the city centre.
The company has been based at Wavertree Technology Park since the launch of the original Playstation.
From this Spring its 500 staff will be based at Liverpool Echo’s former office.
The 65,000sq ft space covers 3 floors of the building and at the time of the original negotiations it was described as “one of the largest city centre deals of the decade.”
The campus contains areas for collaboration and entertainment, cafe, staff gym and rooftop terrace.
It stated that the investment was intended to attract and retain the best talent in the area and to “better connect with peers in the local tech, business, and academic communities.”
