SocialChain appoints Growth Director

SocialChain has named Ramiz Abusham as its new Growth Director.

Abusham joins from Accenture Song, where he was Growth & Partnerships Lead. Prior to that he held senior roles at the tree, iProspect and PHD.

“I have long admired SocialChain’s innovative work. The agency’s creator-led proposition, which prioritises putting people before platforms, has consistently produced game-changing and dynamic social strategies and campaigns for leading brands,” he said.

“Now, with the combined power of Brave Bison, we can enhance this proposition – offering an exceptionally exciting and integrated solution for global brands. I am thrilled to collaborate closely with the brilliant team at SocialChain and the wider company, to embed our evolving proposition with clients, and elevate SocialChain to its next phase of growth.”

In the new role, which will be based in Manchester and London, he’ll report directly to CMO Hannah Baker. His brief will include expanding the agency’s client portfolio, as well as developing growth strategies.

He’ll also be working with the wider Brave Bison growth team to build custom solutions for clients across the company’s media, marketing and commerce delivery specialisms.

“SocialChain has seen phenomenal new business growth over the past year and I couldn’t be more excited to have Ramiz join the team as we look to take the business to even greater heights,” added Hannah Baker, Chief Marketing Officer, Brave Bison & SocialChain.

“Not only does he bring fantastic energy and a wealth of new business experience from across the marketing landscape, he has also has that magic ability to join the dots between social and our wider Brave Bison capabilities in media and technology, which will be invaluable in the pursuit of our mission to capitalise on the complexity of the modern marketing landscape for the world’s most ambitious clients.”
