Social Media Makes Sense appointed to work on trio of TV shows

Call the Cops

Manchester’s Social Media Makes Sense has been appointed by Optomen Television to work on Call the Cops, Crazy Delicious and the Great British Menu.

The agency has also been re-appointed by the production company to work on series two of Absolutely Ascot, having successfully worked on the first series.

Call the Cops and Crazy Delicious appear on Channel 4, while long-running the Great British Menu is on BBC Two.

Jo Booth, head of Social Media Makes Sense, said: “We’re thrilled to be working again with Producer Demi Doyle and her fantastic team at Absolutely Ascot – ITVBe’s fastest growing Instagram account. And now that we’re on board for the rest of Optomen’s programme mix, it’s even better!”

Verity Sutton Barrow, Optomen’s Head of Production, added: “After the great job SMMS did on Absolutely Ascot we’ve asked them to come on board to run the community management for a raft of our programmes.”
