Social Media Makes Sense (SMMS) has been appointed by Freemantle to handle the community management for its new flagship ITV drama, Beecham House.
Set in India in 1795 before the Raj, the drama depicts the fortunes of the residents of an imposing mansion surrounded by acres of exotic woods and pristine lawns. It stars Tom Bateman (Vanity Fair, Jekyll and Hyde, Murder on the Orient Express) as former soldier John Beecham, who has purchased the magnificent Beecham House to begin a new life with his family.
Jo Booth, Director at Manchester-based SMMS, said: “We’re really looking forward to engaging with Beecham House’s fans. People who love watching period drama are such a great audience to work with.”
Launching on Sunday, Beecham House was created by Gurinder Chadha, who’s also behind Bend It Like Beckham, Bride & Prejudice and Viceroy’s House.
