Flight Story, the “story telling” website launched by Social Chain founders including Dragon’s Den star Steven Bartlett and Oliver Yonchev, has launched a new recruitment platform, Flight Talent.
Setting itself apart from the traditional recruitment website model, Flight Talent promises to be an “exclusive community giving members unique access to online and in-person events, talent consultation and networking opportunities” and says it will “sit at the forefront of innovation.”
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Flight Story revealed that Flight Talent will specialise in jobs coming from the “digital wave” and will pair businesses with “talent of the right calibre and skill sets to ensure they stay ahead of the curve.”
It will be led by Yonchev and Bartlett alongside Flight Story director of people and talent Hannah Rolph.
Flight Story CEO and co-founder Yonchev said: “The internet is rapidly evolving. In order for businesses to keep up with the pace of change, they need to hire correctly ahead of this growing sector. Whilst job posts for roles in certain sectors have increased, such as Web3 and Blockchain, positions in existing functions – such as marketing and creative – are also evolving. Without the right tools and services, such as Flight Talent, there is a risk of a potential skills gap where available or emerging roles cannot be filled quickly enough.”
Rolph added: “Anticipating future hiring needs and matching skills and competencies to roles that are as yet ill-defined, can be hugely challenging for business leaders. This is why we developed Flight Talent.
