Dee Set Group, which works with shops and FMCG brands like Asda, Sainsbury’s, Unilever and Coca-Cola, has appointed Smoking Gun to handle its corporate communications.
The Stoke-based field marketing company has also tasked the communications agency with leading on the development and launch of a new AI technology brand.
Smoking Gun will handle corporate profiling, events, thought leadership and stakeholder engagement as part of the retained account for Dee Set, which helps brands improve retail performance in-store and online.
Rick Guttridge, MD of Smoking Gun, said: “Dee Set is an ambitious, fast-growing business that has invested significantly in digital transformation to outpace the competition. We are delighted to be working with them at such an exciting time.
“As part of the digital transformation piece, Smoking Gun will also deliver a full brand development strategy for Dee Set Group’s new AI tech product, launching this month.”
James Lamplugh, Sales Director at Dee Set Group, added: “As a business with sights set on revolutionising the sector, we needed an agency that realises our ambition and shares the same entrepreneurial spirit we do, and Smoking Gun are just that.
“We were immediately impressed by their creative ideas, understanding of our brief and where we want to go as a business.”
