Tickets are a hot topic right now, but mercifully we don’t have more Oasis drama, but news that Preston-based Skiddle, the UK’s leading independent event ticketing platform, has announced the release of its latest feature, Session-Based Ticketing.
Now available for free in the Skiddle Promotion Centre, the tool has been designed to allow event organisers to create and sell tickets for events that require multiple timed sessions or entry times, with intervals of either 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or an hour.
Ideal for organisers of events such as theatre performances, exhibitions, fairgrounds or scare attractions, Session-Based Ticketing helps to maximise the capacity of a venue, increasing the number of tickets available with each session.
It also offers customers the flexibility to choose an entry time which suits them, helping to manage crowds, cut down on queue times, and reduce no-shows, all while increasing the profitability of the event.
Organisers promoting repeating events can also integrate Skiddle’s recently unveiled Event Series feature with Session-Based Ticketing, to create recurring dates with tickets for multiple timed sessions quickly and with ease.
Editing Session-Based Tickets created in the Promotion Centre is straightforward. A bespoke calendar view means event organisers using the platform can edit existing sessions individually or in bulk, hide or remove sessions completely, and view a breakdown of sales for each session.
