Skiddle has announced a new promotional opportunity for event organisers to help maximise ticket sales over this year’s Black Friday (29th November) and Cyber Monday (2nd December) shopping events.
With Black Friday and Cyber Monday continuing to be two of the biggest days for retail and e-commerce sales, Skiddle is providing event organisers the chance to stand out from the crowd and capitalise on ticket sales with a unique and time-limited discount code.
To join in, event organisers must access the Skiddle Promotion Centre and activate discounts for their chosen event using the code ‘BLACKFRIDAY24’. The team behind the ticketing platform recommend offering a 20% discount, based on data showing this rate delivers optimal conversion results. The code can then be shared directly with customers to increase event appeal and drive sales during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday rush.
Skiddle has provided a detailed “How-To” video guide that walks organisers through every step, making it easy to create and share discounts effectively.
Why Join In on Black Friday and Cyber Monday?
Recent data from YouGov highlights that 72% of shoppers are motivated by deals and discounts during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, often leading them to make purchases they hadn’t initially planned. The limited-time nature of these discounts creates a sense of urgency, encouraging customers to choose your event and make their purchase sooner.
Events that feature Black Friday and Cyber Monday discounts will gain premium visibility as part of Skiddle’s dedicated marketing campaign. Organisers who opt to participate will benefit from their events being featured on Skiddle’s dedicated Black Friday and Cyber Monday ‘Inspire Me’ pages, situated on the Skiddle homepage, visited by 4.5 million monthly visitors.
These pages will also be promoted via the Skiddle customer newsletter – reaching over half a million subscribers – and across Skiddle’s social media channels.
“This Black Friday and Cyber Monday, we’re giving event organisers a platform to enhance visibility and sales in the lead-up to the busy and fast-approaching festive season,” said Lisa Lewis, senior marketing manager at Skiddle.
“Our promotional campaigns will drive awareness, making it easy for eventgoers to find and grab a bargain, perhaps even a Christmas gift for a loved one at a reduced price, in turn making it easy for organisers to capitalise on one of the biggest retail weekends of the year.”
