Hatch has been appointed by restaurant group Six by Nico to help launch its debut Yorkshire venture in Leeds.
The agency, which specialises in food and drink PR, social media, activations and content production beat a number of other Leeds agencies to win the competitive pitch process, and will now work with Six by Nico to enhance their PR in the region alongside supporting influencer marketing, and OOH activations in the build-up the launch.
Founded by chef Nico Simeone, Six by Nico offers diners a delicious and affordable six-course tasting menu inspired by a theme, destination or concept. The creative tasting menu changes every six weeks, each with a different theme – inspiring the name Six by Nico.
The hugely popular restaurant has seen significant growth over the last few years with UK-wide expansion. It’s Leeds restaurant will be the latest stage when it officially opens on July 3, with the help of Hatch.
Helen Simpson, performance and development director at Hatch, said: “The opportunity to work with the team at Six by Nico to launch their latest venue in Leeds is something we’re really excited about.
“Six by Nico’s concept is really unique which makes it such a great brief to work on. Combine this with the fact that Leeds has become a real foodie destination over recent years and we’re confident we’ve got a recipe for success on our hands.
“As specialists in food and drink PR, it goes without saying that the team at Hatch are big foodies and have admired the Six by Nico brand for years, which makes this a great win for the team – not just professionally, but personally too.”
Morgan Pope, brand director at Six by Nico, added: “We felt that the [Hatch] team really understood the local connection and buzz we’re looking to achieve here in Leeds, and we are certain that the team will be able to deliver the work at pace to hit the next few weeks with a bang.”
Food and drink has been at the heart of Hatch’s client roster since it was founded 15 years ago, having worked with restaurants such as La Casita, Salvo’s, The Ivy and more, alongside household name brands Diageo, George Foreman, Hisense and Russell Hobbs.
