Silver Cross gets an ecommerce push from Northern Artillery

Northern Artillery has been appointed by Silver Cross to drive its ecommerce traffic, following a pitch process.

The Leeds agency has been brought in to move its existing eCommerce site from Umbraco to Shopify+ and also enhance the user journey.

“Northern Artillery has proved itself as one of the region’s foremost digital agencies and we’re delighted to have the opportunity to gain from its impressive expertise in the field of eCommerce,” said Riccardo Baldoni, Silver Cross’ Associate Director of IT & Customer Experience.

“Our pitch process marked them out as clear suitors for the Silver Cross brand and we look forward to their work yielding a further uptick in global sales.”

The Yorkshire brand, which dates back to 1877 has supplied prams to King George VI, Queen Elizabeth and the then-Prince Charles. More recently it’s been collaborating with supercar giant, Lamborghini.

“It’s an honour and privilege to serve Silver Cross, one of Yorkshire’s most prolific global brands. Our team is already hard at work creating a new online store that will give the brand additional scope to further strengthen its reputation and market share around the world; it’s massively satisfying to know that we can be part of what is a truly phenomenal home-grown success story,” added Northern Artillery’s Liam Grogan.
