Sheffield-based Quba, a web technology agency, has seen its annual turnover increase by 20% to £1.32m.
Established in 2000 by Matthew Williams, Quba is a 22-strong web technology agency that designs, builds and manages large websites and applications for clients across a range of sectors including airports, financial services, charities and manufacturers.
As well as the rise in turnover, the agency has also grown its headcount by six and won a series of clients since the start of the year.
Their roster now includes The Grosvenor Group, the UK’s largest independent property group; Market, the US insurance giant; and TC Harrison Ford, one of the largest UK family-run Ford dealership groups.
Long-term client London Luton Airport has retained Quba on a three-year contract that was won following a competitive pitch.
Matthew Williams, MD of Quba, said: “Despite the challenges faced by many of our clients, especially thanks to Brexit uncertainty, the last twelve months has been a strong period of growth for the business. The entire team has been focussed on delivering projects on time, on budget and with the right balance of creativity and end-user functionality. I firmly believe this approach has been to key to our success.
“Our aim is to now build on these achievements so we can position the company as strongly as possible for the future.”
