Cotton Traders, which is headquartered in Altrincham, is launching a national advertising campaign having launched its first major national ad campaign with SHARP Agency earlier in the year.

This season’s TV campaign follows the successful return at the beginning of the year, and builds on its ‘The Style of Your Life’ campaign, which showcases the brand’s successful womenswear range.

The campaign is set to be rolled out nationally across not just 30-second TV adverts across multiple channels, but paid social, in-store POS and press advertising in national titles. It is also supported by PR strategy targeting key women’s media, as well as blogger and influencer engagement.

Cotton Traders is aiming to open itself up to younger audiences and broaden its appeal generally. After working with SHARP Agency in March, results were strong despite the timing coinciding with COVID-19.

Shona Jameson, Chief Marketing Officer for Cotton Traders, said: “Established over 30 years ago, Cotton Traders has a loyal customer base who love shopping with the brand thanks to our outstanding value and quality proposition.

“Our Spring campaign was greatly received, driving sales and recruiting new audiences despite a tough market backdrop. We’re targeting further growth as we look to widen our loyal customer base, reaching a younger audience across multiple platforms. Our latest campaign really showcases what Cotton Traders is all about and we’re sure it will resonate with both existing and new customers alike.”

SHARP Agency Creative Director. Richard Sharp. added: “The target audience of the new campaign doesn’t take themselves too seriously. Neither does our creative treatment. It’s stylish in a down-to-earth way which embraces our charismatic, real women who love to shop for life. We hope everyone loves it as much as we do.”
