Senior Manchester promotions at Steven Bartlett’s Flight Studio

Flight Studio, the studio arm of Steven Bartlett’s Flight Story and producer of the hit Diary of a CEO podcast, has announced three senior promotions.

In Manchester, Jason Fisher has been appointed as executive studio director at Flight Studio after working with Bartlett for 10 years. Fisher was previously studio director at Bartlett’s first company Social Chain, where he established and scaled the agency’s creative studio. He has worked across a number of high-profile clients such as Amazon, FIFA and Dreamworks on their creative strategies and execution.

Award winning projects Fihser has worked on include Amazon Prime Video UKs Just So You Know, while he has also led branded podcasts for clients such as PLT and Arla.

In his new role Fisher will be responsible for scaling and managing creative production and post-production operations across original shows and brand partnerships.

Fisher said: “Since editing the first Everyday Steve vlog (2015 ) I’ve spent a decade scaling creative studios in the world of marketing with Steven – at the same time, I’ve often been in awe watching the monumental growth of The Diary Of A CEO and the team behind it.

“When I first met Georgie Holt and Christiana Brenton, and with Steven they shared the Flight Studio mission – to build on the success of DOAC and inspire everyone, everywhere to pursue a more fulfilling life one conversation at a time – making the leap from the world of marketing to the world of media was a no brainer.

“I cannot wait to show the world the shows we have cooking, the stories we’re telling, and the incredibly important conversations we’re enabling.”

Also in Manchester, Isaac Martin has been appointed as creative operations & innovation director. Like Fisher, Martin has worked with Bartlett for 10 years, and was previously head of video & innovation at Social Chain, where he led the video team and built technology solutions.

Martin worked across a number of high profile clients such as Coca Cola, Superdry, and Disney on their video production and led branded podcasts for clients such as PrettyLittleThing and Arla.

Martin will be responsible for driving excellence in all areas of creative execution and leading Flight Studio’s innovation efforts

He said: “Over two months ago I first sat down with Georgie Holt, Christiana Brenton and Steven Bartlett to talk about the mission of Flight Studio and was instantly blown away by the ambition and drive to build on the success of The Diary Of A CEO. We’re already working on some incredible new shows that tell truly breathtaking and important stories and I cannot wait to share them with you all.”

Finally, Pollyanna Ward is now creative director at Flight Studio. Previously strategy and planning director at Flight Story’s London office, Ward has also served spells at PHD, Wickes and Social Chain, among others, in a career that has taken her to France and the Netherlands as well as the UK, and worked for some of the biggest brands in the world including Oreo, Cadbury, CHANEL, and Capri-Sun.

Ward said: “My remit is to deliver creative solutions to clients that go above and beyond expectations, building on my mission to keep brands at the forefront of what’s possible by mashing marketing fundamentals and shiny new objectives to find the sweet spot for your brand.

“I couldn’t be more excited and happy to be part of a team that is driving the podcast industry forward…Our content spans multiple channels, audio and visual, and with more things being launched later this year, the kind of work that we’ll be able to partner with brands on is pretty mad.”
