Two Jaywing employees have left the Sheffield agency to take up senior roles at McCann Worldgroup’s new Leeds operation.
Olly Sowden, formerly Commercial Director at Jaywing, has been appointed Managing Partner at McCann Leeds. He’s previously had spells at Iris Associates and Ripe Design.
And Gavin Shore, who was Executive Creative Director at Jaywing, has taken up the same role at McCann Leeds. He has previously had spells at the likes of DMG, Communisis and Iris Associates.

Back in May, we revealed exclusively that McCann Worldgroup – which is part of the Interpublic Group – would be setting up in Leeds city centre on Wellington Street, adding to existing UK bases in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and Milton Keynes.
At the time Mark Lund, the UK CEO of McCann Worldgroup, said that opening in Leeds represented “huge growth potential” and that it was a city “bursting with energy and talent”.
