Manchester digital agency Up Search has relaunched with a new identity as it targets a £2m turnover in the next two years.
The new branding and name, Run2, is the work of Loaf Creative.
Formed in 2011, Up Search was established by Christian McGinty as a specialist search agency but has since evolved into a full-service digital agency, with turnover up £500,000 over the past five years.
The agency wanted the new name to reflect its broader offering and a move away from being simply labelled as ‘Search’.
McGinty (pictured above) said: “It’s a genuinely exciting time for the business. We have an extremely talented team and a client list to be really proud of.
“The decision to relaunch as Run2 is threefold: there are the connotations of the ‘run’ programme and the parallels that has with us as a digital agency, and there are also neat inferences with how we operate with our client base: ‘we help keep their marketing running’, ‘they run to us for help and solutions’, etc… Also in a nod to our strong Manchester roots, it is the name of one of my favourite New Order songs. All in all, we believe it encompasses who we are and what we do.”
Run2, which works with the likes of Revolution Bars, Genting Hotels and Revolucion De Cuba, says it has recently won work from some “national household names”.
