England’s Rugby Football League has agreed a four-year sponsorship deal with Ronseal.

The British woodcare brand, part of global business Sherwin-Williams, will see its logo feature on all key squad shirts, including during the next Rugby League World Cup in 2021.

It is the first time Sheffield-based Ronseal has taken part in a sports sponsorship.

Interim Rugby Football League chief executive, Ralph Rimmer, said: “It’s fantastic to add such a well-recognised and trusted brand to the England portfolio. Having Ronseal on board only strengthens preparations for this year’s Test in Denver, the International Series against New Zealand and further fixtures including the RLWC2021.”

Brian Padden, vice president, general manager CBG Europe for Sherwin Williams, added: “We are honored that England Rugby League approached Ronseal with the opportunity to be the Official Partner up until the 2021 World Cup. This will be our first venture into sports partnership and England Rugby League feels like the right fit for us.”
