The BBC has ordered a new series of Bridge of Lies, which is created and produced by STV Studios.
It’s the third outing for the Ross Kemp-fronted quiz show, which first aired in 2022.
“When I first said yes to hosting a new quiz show, I could never have imagined that we’d still be here three series later, but Bridge of Lies seems to have really struck a chord with viewers and it’s been such a pleasure seeing it become a staple of so many people’s afternoons,” said Kemp.
“The new series is bigger and better than ever, with some fantastic teams of contestants who I loved getting to know. One very brave team even managed to take home the biggest cash prize in Bridge of Lies history! I’m delighted to be back, and hope viewers have as much fun watching the new series as I did hosting it.”
There will also be a Celebrity Bridge of Lies, which will go out on Saturday nights on BBC One and iPlayer.
It was recommissioned for BBC Daytime by Rob Unsworth, Head of BBC Daytime and Early Peak. The Commissioning Editors are Alex McLeod and Neil McCallum. Gary Chippington, STV Studios’ Creative Director of Entertainment, serves as Executive Producer. International format sales, outside of the US, are handled by BBC Studios Distribution.
The show is filmed at BBC Scotland’s Pacific Quay studios in Glasgow.
