Steel City Interactive has announced a partnership with Riyadh Season – one of the world’s biggest entertainment events.
The co-branding collaboration will see the Riyadh Season brand featured in SCI’s Undisputed boxing game. Plus a new state-of-the-art venue, Kingdom Arena, based on the real-life Riyadh Season Zone, and an extra interactive venue will be available to players post launch.
“This partnership with Riyadh Season underscores our mission to work closely with the biggest names in boxing and bring players a game that encompasses the excitement and competitiveness nature of the sport,” said Steel City Interactive’s CEO and founder, Ash Habib.
The company has already signed up 200 boxers, plus the WBC, IBF, WBO, The Ring Magazine, British Boxing Board of Control, CompuBox and BoxRec to create the first major boxing game in more than a decade.
H.E. Advisor Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA), stated that the partnership was a “significant step towards promoting entertainment and offering the public an opportunity to experience boxing through interactive games.”
SCI now employs more than 50 staff.
